Computer support facts:

The Facilities and Safety Computer Support division consists of two full-time employees.  The department handles computer support for the Physical Plant, Environmental Health & Safety, Postal services, Arboretum, Business Management and HVAC.  Computer Support is responsible for installations of  hardware and software, as well as system upgrades for well over 120 computers.

Computer Support is responsible for multiple computers and servers controlling the items listed below.

  • Local files and records
  • Campus door lock system
  • Campus alarm system
  • Kronos time keeping system
  • Sprocket work order system
  • Campus automated irrigation system, RainBird
  • Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning monitoring system for most campus buildings
  • Centralized Antivirus server
  • Database Administration for various SQL and Access databases
  • Environmental Health & Safety chemical inventory
  • Campus lift stations monitoring
  • Campus fueling station
  • Web servers hosting multiple sites
  • Support for multiple network and local printers
